Long time no post...
Hello friends! sorry it's been awhile since my last post, I've been in FL visiting with my grandparents. The past week was super relaxing and lots of fun. I always have a good time with my grandparents, i don't think my grandparents are like other grandparents, mine are totally cool and I spend lots of time with them bc we're really close. Florida owned up to it's name as the "Sunshine State" it was nice sunny weather during the week, and I managed to get a little time. I liked my time in Florida, bc down there time kind of stood still. I mean my grents have a house in this cute little development/community for snow birds. Here I was the youngest person by a long shot but that didn't really bother me, the people were real nice and cool, but i kind of adapted to the lifestyle there and began to feel like a snow bird myself, i felt like i, too, was retired and needn't worry about school or the mcats or anything other than going to the pool and reading my book all day. Unfortunately, now that I'm back to reality I realize just how much I need to do before going back to school on Sunday and I'm regretting signing up to work this week bc it makes it harder to get all that i need to get done, done. Highlight of my time in FL was of course spending time with my grents and soaking up sunshine and reading, but above all going to the beach. I absolutely love going to the beach! I also love to read and I love Jane Eyre which is one of the three books i finished reading while in FL. It truly is a great classic. And now I'm going to reread the 6th HP book before going back to school, that is, if I can find time to sit down and read that is. I have a lot of shopping and packing to do before going to school, so instead of sitting here talking about it, I think I'll go do something about it. Goodnight

Prelude
Hello all! Just wanted to introduce myself and start the blogging. I'm a virgin at this so bare with me. I'm mostly starting this blogging thing so I can keep in touch with my BF Liz, who is soon to be leaving me to go to Ireland. She's studying abroad there and I can't tell you how jealous I am of her, but also how happy I am for her. This is an amazing opportunity for her and I know she'll make the most of it and explore her heart out, exploring both Ireland and possibly other countries in Europe. I myself have traveled quite a bit, I've been to Chile, Antarctica, Argentina, Italy, Prague, Bahamas, the Virgin Islands and Australia, so I know just how amazing it is to experience new sites and different cultures. I just wish I could be there with her to experience the new sites, as well. I'm sure I'll have my chance sometime in the future to travel more of Europe, I hope to visit Liz while she's over there, but that will require a lot of money saving, some very convincing persuasion/pleading with my parents and some planning, so we shall see if that wish comes to fruition. In the meantime, I'm trying to spend as much time as I can with my love before she leaves me and be brave in the face of her departure. On a different note, I'm also spending this holdiay working at the bank, working out to prepare for the upcoming lacrosse season and trying desperately to motivate myself to study for the MCATs. I'm also trying to compose my CV and prepare for application stuff for a summer research opportunity at the University of Maryland, something that I'm very excited for. So, I have quite a bit on my plate as you can see! Happy New Year's everyone, and Liz, best of luck my love, I'll miss you so much but I hope you have the time of your life!
